This year, our Festive Collection is a memoir of my travels — from long before Naksh was born.

Over the years, I have gathered a vast visual memory of India: its culture, heritage, art, architecture, colours, flora and fauna. Places I have visited, books I have read, walls I have looked at, and little details that stayed with me long after I left.

This collection brings together a few of those memories.

Here, motifs draw from the flora and fauna I have encountered; architecture becomes a reflection of history; and colours carry fragments of places and moments I remember.

It is our way of reinterpreting the visual memories of travel — not as they were, but as they remained in my mind.
